Making It Easier To Vote For All Eligible Minnesotans
OSS wanted to create a Minnesota Votes microsite. They needed responsive design templates to implement the content of their existing tools into these new templates. The goal was to ensure site visitors could view the tools in the best, most readable and user-friendly format on various devices (desktop/laptop, tablet or smartphone).

The work of the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State (OSS) affects Minnesotans in all 87 counties of the state. One of the office's main responsibilities is overseeing statewide elections and operating the statewide voter registration system. They work hard every day to ensure Minnesota’s election system is fair, open, impartial, and secure.
The Need
OSS wanted to create a Minnesota Votes microsite. They needed responsive design templates to implement the content of their existing tools into these new templates. The goal was to ensure site visitors could view the tools in the best, most readable and user-friendly format on various devices (desktop/laptop, tablet or smartphone).
The Solution
The focus of this project centered around design and prototyping services. We held working meetings with OSS IT staff to understand how web applications operate, and how they were designed and built. We collaborated with the OSS communications team on themes and branding. We worked closely with the OSS IT team for implementation and technology details. The new templates provided a cohesive branding and look & feel across all pages. We designed, developed, and delivered icons for use on new templates that illustrated the content and functions of the website.
