Business Analysts

We currently have openings for Business Analysts. These positions will be filled as an independent contractor and may require work on-site at our client locations throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. Short- and long-term contracts needed to manage the functional and non-functional requirements of existing and new web applications and their interfaces.   • Leverage Agile development methodology and team resources
  • Matrix document showing current functionality mapped against new applications, documented functionality by system, business rules by program area
  • Map existing web application tables against new applications
  • Gap analysis contrasting existing, new, and desired functionality described by use cases or user stories
  • Sequence diagrams showing workflow by function
  • Support for wireframes, mock-ups, architectural diagrams training material, test plans

Required Experience

  • 4+ years as Business Analyst, managing medium- and large-sized projects
  • Facilitating, managing, interacting with teams in order to develop system requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to manage and prioritize activities on complex projects
  • Government, non profit sector experience
  • Agile experience
  • Microsoft Project

Additional Skills Desired:

  • Experience managing billing processes and procedures
  • Analysis of data requirements for government reporting at state or federal level
  • UI design
  • Performance measurement, evaluation and analysis
  • Experience managing projects with accessible applications
  • Member, certification or understanding of BABOK from IIBA
  • Scrum education or certification
